The modern city of Istanbul, once the heart of Byzantine
and Ottoman Empires, is a fascinating blend of East and
West. The graceful minarets and domes of the Blue Mosque,
Saint Sophia, Topkapi Palace and mystical Grand Bazaar
are some of the landmarks which have attracted travelers
and trade for centuries...
And Orient House is one of these wonders. The construction
date of cellar is not known. However, according to
estimations by the historian's, it was built towards
the end of the Ottoman Empire (tulip period). This
location was used as a theater in the early years of
twentieth century. It was restored several times at
different dates.
The Grand Bazaar and historical sights such as the Blue
Mosque, the Hippodrome, St Sophia Topkapi Palace and
the Underground Cistern are within walking distance.

a typical Turkish musical instruments; discover the delights
